The Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) representing its 54 member banks is joining in the Identity Theft fight by their submission on Bill C-27 an Act to amend the Criminal Code (identity theft and related misconduct).
It will create a new offence for identity theft and deal with related misconduct of unlawful possession and trafficking in "identity information.
A big hooray to our friends up in the "GREAT WHITE NORTH". Welcome aboard in our fight against ID Theft.
